Minivans have a big job to do: fit plenty of cargo, be comfy for passengers, and of course, keep everyone safe. Turns out, the Chrysler Pacifica has been excelling at all of these, earning it the title of “Best Minivan” from the New York Daily News.
For the third year in a row, the New York Daily News held its annual Auto Awards, which honors multiple vehicles. For the second year in a row, the Chrysler Pacifica stood out and received the “Best Minivan” award.
Twelve different automotive journalists were assigned with the task of choosing the “Best Minivan.” The journalists judged vehicles based on multiple elements and stated whether or not they would recommend the vehicle to co-workers, family members, and friends. To be considered for the title, a minivan had to get high recommendation ratings across the board.
The Chrysler Pacifica has always been one of the best minivans on the road, but since its redesign, it’s even more impressive. An optional plug-in hybrid drivetrain makes the Pacifica more efficient, while new trim levels offer added luxury and space. The biggest plus for families is improved safety technology, including driver-assistive features like blind-spot monitoring and rear park assist with automatic braking.
But you don’t have to take the New York Daily News’s word for it—check out the excellent Pacifica for yourself with a test drive at Ginn CDJR!
