We already adore Fiat Chrysler Automotive for the high-quality vehicles they design and manufacture, but recently the auto industry giant gave us one more reason to love them with all of our car-obsessed hearts. In May, FCA earned the titles of being both a “Noteworthy Company for Diversity” and a “Top Company for Veterans” from DiversityInc.
Out of the over 1,000 companies that participated in DiversityInc’s 2018 evaluation, FCA came out as one of the top companies overall. In order to earn these special recognitions, FCA had to excel in hiring, retaining, and promoting LGBTQ-identifying persons, women, people of color, people with disabilities, and veterans. FCA went above-and-beyond by also promoting diversity initiatives within its supplier chain.
This is the second consecutive year that FCA has earned a top spot in the “Top Company for Veterans” category, a fact all of us at Ginn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are particularly proud of.
While it is wonderful that FCA is now being widely recognized for its achievements in hiring veterans and encouraging a diverse working environment, those of us who work within the company are not surprised. At Ginn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we have long been aware of FCA’s longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion across their enterprise.
