A few years back, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles unveiled the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Hellcats with their 707-horsepower engines—and they blew everybody’s minds. It was only a matter of time before the automaker decided to see what else it could cram that engine into. The result? The 2018 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the world’s fastest production SUV ever built.
Making the same 707 horsepower that it does for the Dodge Challenger and Charger, the Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine propels the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk from 0 to 60 miles an hour in 3.5 seconds. Other features include humongous and powerful Brembo brakes (just in case you’re going a little too fast for your liking), Quadra-trac all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-new 2018 Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk went on sale on August 10th. It is available with several options, like a panoramic sunroof, a full-leather interior package, and a backseat entertainment center. Drivers will have their choice among nine different color options, including Redline red, which is exclusive to the Trackhawk.
